1. Service Description

TrustMyWatch provides an independent before-buy visual assessment of watches based solely on the photos submitted by the customer.

This service does not include in-person inspections, physical authentication, certification, or any guarantee of originality.

All evaluations are expert opinions and not official authentication documents.

2. Scope of Service

Assessments are based exclusively on the photos uploaded by the customer.

The accuracy of the review depends entirely on the quality, clarity and completeness of the submitted images.

The service includes (depending on package):

  • authenticity opinion (visual only)

  • dial, hands, case, bracelet inspection

  • condition overview

  • aging-pattern analysis (vintage pieces)

  • fair market value range (if included)

The service does not include:

  • official certificates

  • legal appraisals

  • mechanical condition checks

  • movement authentication without clear movement photos

  • any guarantee where superfake models are involved

3. Accepted & Excluded Watch Categories

Accepted brands:

  • Seiko, Citizen, Orient / Orient Star

  • Casio / G-Shock

  • Tissot, Certina, Hamilton, Mido, Longines, Glycine, Victorinox

  • Omega, Oris, Breitling*, Tudor, TAG Heuer, Rado, Zodiac, Raymond Weil, Maurice Lacroix

  • Microbrands: Steinhart, Squale, Christopher Ward, Yema, Baltic, Nodus, Dan Henry, Seagull

  • Vintage Omega / Tudor / Breitling / Cartier (pre-2000)

Not accepted:

TrustMyWatch exclusively evaluates the brands listed in the “Accepted Watches” section.

The following brands and categories are not accepted for photo-based evaluation, due to the presence of extremely high-grade replicas or the need for in-person inspection:

  • Rolex

  • Audemars Piguet (AP)

  • IWC

  • Richard Mille

  • Panerai

  • Hublot

  • Patek Philippe

  • Modern Cartier

  • Modern Breitling

  • High-end luxury brands outside the accepted list

  • Models that require disassembly or physical inspection for a reliable opinion

If the customer is unsure whether their watch is accepted, they must contact TrustMyWatch before placing an order.

4. Photo Requirements

Required photo types:

  • front view

  • back case

  • both sides

  • clasp / bracelet

  • dial close-up

  • any visible wear, polishing, defects, aging

Not accepted:

  • blurry photos

  • dark or overexposed photos

  • distant photos

  • stock images

  • AI-generated images

  • screenshots

  • images not belonging to the actual watch being evaluated

The assessment can only be as accurate as the photos provided.

5. Photo Limits by Package

  • Quick Check: up to 4 photos

  • Full Check: up to 10 photos

  • Pro Check: up to 15 photos

If the customer submits more than allowed, an upgrade is required.

6. Listing Links

Customers may send marketplace links (e.g., Vinted, Chrono24).

However, access is not guaranteed, due to:

  • region-locked platforms (US Vinted, etc.)

  • private groups

  • login-restricted pages

  • removed or expired listings

The review is always based on photos, not links.

7. Customer Responsibility

By submitting photos, the customer confirms that:

  • they have permission to share the images

  • the photos belong to the actual watch they plan to buy

  • they understand the assessment is an expert opinion, not definitive authentication

8. Delivery Time

Delivery begins only after all required photos are received.

Standard delivery by package:

  • Quick Check: 24–48 hours

  • Full Check: 24–48 hours

  • Pro Check: 24 hours

Delays may occur if photos are unclear or incomplete.

9. Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal.

Prices are listed in EUR unless stated otherwise.

10. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of expert-based digital analysis:

All orders are final. No refunds or cancellations.

Refund is not possible if:

  • the customer changes their mind

  • the watch listing is removed

  • the seller refuses to cooperate

  • the customer provided low-quality photos

  • the customer chose the wrong package

  • the customer disagrees with the expert opinion

TrustMyWatch charges for time and expertise, not for guaranteed outcomes.

11. Limitation of Liability

TrustMyWatch is not responsible for:

  • financial losses

  • disputes with sellers

  • hidden defects not visible in photos

  • internal or mechanical issues

  • inaccuracies caused by incomplete or poor-quality images

The service does not guarantee the originality of any watch.

All purchasing decisions are made at the customer’s own risk.

12. No Brand Affiliation

TrustMyWatch is fully independent and not affiliated with any watch brand, manufacturer, or marketplace.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order or sending photos, the customer acknowledges and accepts all terms listed here.
